Dreams and wishes can come true,
if you really want them to,
Never give up on a dream or wish,
these are things you should cherish
Sometimes life gets in the way,
making our thoughts drift or stray,
but just focus again and get back on track,
and you will receive twice as much back.

DREAMS AND REALITY
Light and shadows
cover her, as she
walks along the
empty shore, once
filled with tourists
but not any more.
Her hair blowing
now in the cool
evening breeze,
as she watches
the moon dancing
upon blue seas
Pulling her
sweater around
her to keep her
warm, a tear
trickles down
her cheek, and
she brushes it
off quickly, as her
feet the firm sand
seek.
Just last year
he walked along
this beach with
her, holding her
close to him,
telling her he
would never let
her go
So happy they
were, and the
time was full
of love, and the
time had gone
so slow
But then, the
dream had come
to an end, he
could no longer
pretend
Reality knocked
at their door, and
their sweet love
could be no more
So footprints in
the sand, and
memories forever
engraved within
her heart would
have to do, for the
years they would
have to endure
being apart.

Hot, sunny days, and skies of blue,
drift through my mind when I think of you
Deep turquoise waters, kissed by the sun,
Beaches of white, shimmering sand, on
which to have fun
Sipping champagne in a jacuzzi for two,
with candlelight and romantic music,
alone with you
Strawberries dipped in chocolate,
massages & whipped cream,
Perfumed bubble baths, a round bed with lots
of pillows and silken sheets on which to dream
Fantasies & dreams and trust beyond compare,
Awaken us to feelings, that in reality we do not dare.
For always will they be with us, no matter what we do,
Through life they will help us survive too.

DREAM MAN
Sapphire blue were her eyes,
and her dress scarlet red,
little did anyone know,
this Lady was in disguise.
From her sandalled feet,
and golden hair,
Little did they know
it was to draw them to her lair.
Her catlike moves, drew all to her,
They stumbled for words, that
became a blur.
She sipped her drink, and moved
gracefully in her seat,
as all around her whispered,
the Lady didn't miss a beat
A brave man approached her,
moving in with great skill,

he asked 'Is this seat taken, may I
sit beside you
She glanced and smiled at him
and said 'please sit down, perhaps
you will my dreams fulfill'.
The night drew to a close,
and he offered her a lift
And no one knows,

her lifelong gift.

"DREAM ISLAND"
I see myself by the
blue-green ocean,
my face caressed by
the warm sun and
the cool sea breeze
wafting through the
tall green palm trees
My toes dig into the
cool pure white sand,
revelling in the
softness as I relax in
the hammock
stretched between
the two trees on the
deserted beach.
Beside me is a small
table with a frozen
daquiri, and some
grapes, strawberries
and watermelon, as
I gaze out at the
yachts far in the
horizon, what bliss
is this, I can feel the
sun beating down on
my skin and can smell
the aroma of the
coconut sunscreen
and I inhale it with
pleasure, and it
relaxes me even
more, as I watch
the birds looking
for food on the
shore. My easel
is beside, as I have
been doing a water
colour of the ocean,
and I am waiting
for the sun to start
setting and will
hopefully catch it
in my painting.
Taking a deep
breath, I relax
back into the
hammock and
close my eyes
and just dream
of you, feeling you
with me, and
perhaps one day
soon you will be

"DANCE OF DREAMS"
It was our first
day in Paris and
you had promised
to take me dancing
somewhere very
special that night
and I had bought
a crimson silk dress
in a French store
that looked just right
This was my dream
come true, as I
looked up at the
sky, a deep velvet
blue, aglow with
stars and planets
so bright, lighting
up the deep darkness
of the summer night
You whispered to
me to take my time,
that you would be
waiting downstairs
to capture me in
your arms, and
that you wanted
to be the first to
see me in my
full beauty and
totally disarm
Slipping into my
crimson silk gown,
brushing my blonde
hair the way that
you like, as I sprayed
a light floral perfume
lightly upon my smooth
skin the excitement
quickly took over deep
within
My cheeks were flushed
almost the shade of my
dress, and I quickly
ran my fingers through
my hair to make it a
little bit sensual, I
must confess
Taking the lovely
diamond necklace
out of the box, the
one you had given
to me tonight
I placed it around
my neck, and was
dazzled by the sight
This couldn't be me,
looking like this,
surely not, but here
I was, so lost in
thought as I
slipped delicate
drop earrings on
to match, I glanced
in the mirror and
my breath I did
catch
Never again in my
life will there be
a moment like this
I so longed for him
to hold me, so
hungered for his
kiss
I rushed out the
door, and started
down the spiral
staircase, and
there he was
holding his arms
out to me, my
heart so did race
The music was
softly playing as
we walked to the
rivers edge, in the
warm summer
breeze, and he
pulled me close to
him with such ease
We danced the night
away, it was so
wonderful to be in
his arms once more
swirling around to
the music, my feet
didn't even touch
the floor
Our dream dance
ended as the music
stopped, but not the
rest of our magical
night, as we made
our way to our room,
just up one flight,
kissing me with such
passion as we entered
our room, I felt my
head start to zoom,
desire, love, and all
the years of holding
back took over then
and we made love
like it would never
end
